And it was going so well!!

Keeping these girls busy proved successful today!

There was no time for fighting!

(well, there was still some, but not nearly as much as yesterday!)

A much better day today!

Library visit, lots of snacks, playtime and Pororo on the iPad!

They were even holding hands in this pic, but they moved too quickly for me to get that shot. :)

And they even had time to torture their favorite mini dach.

This poor dog.

Seriously.

He finally made an escape!

And promptly ran over to my lap for a safe haven, where I promised he didn't have to ride in anymore shopping carts!

Dinner time around here just turns crazy.

Em is still not really eating much 'American' food, so I'm still making her a separate meal for the most part.  My son is a super picky eater, it's amazing he's still alive, and while Zoey is a pretty good eater normally, since the other kids are having different meals, she wants one too...and it's just that time of day when they're kinda tired, get whiny and let it all out for daddy when he gets home!

Em is doing so much better with Danny, but it's kinda weird still...she's not thrilled with greeting him or telling him goodbye when he comes or goes, but will slowly open if he initiates interaction.  When my dad walks in though, she shrills with excitement and always want to touch his face (I'm thinking maybe the bushy eyebrows are her interest)!  She climbs all over him and usually Zoey and she will wear him out for the few minutes he comes over to play with them.  She is allowing Danny to bathe her without me being in the same room, but will come looking for me as soon as they're done...hasn't yet allowed him to put her down for nap or bedtime though...we'll get there!

We headed out to Braedan's baseball game (yes, we're at the ball field A LOT!) and Em loves kids her age!  She'll always walk up and give hugs and kisses, whether they're wanted or not (she did this to a few kids at the library today too)!  And then she insisted on taking off her shoes...and I totally let her.  That is not something I would ordinarily EVER do! Let my kid take their shoes off in a public place?!?!? Uh, no!  But she was happy, no harm done and we scrubbed her feet extra hard at bath time tonight...maybe the third time around, you just start to let a few more things slide!  Keep the peace!  A Korean friend of mine was at the game and we joked that if there were any ajummas around, I woulda been in big time trouble for that one!  She mentioned her Korean mom was super annoyed with her girls wearing Crocs the other day and insisted they put on shoes that covered and protected their feet!

Right before the game ended (Braedan got a great hit tonight by the way!) Zoey ran up with blood everywhere!  Her dress, her tights, her hand and her face!  Finally, we figured out she had cut her finger and it was huge scene!  I got her home, bathed her and calmed her down and was finally able to take a closer look...I've seen a lot of cuts and scrapes, but honestly, this one probably needs a stitch or two.  We think she might have caught it on the bleachers somehow.  But Zoey still has a great fear (like freak out panic attack screaming fear) of doctors and needles and was already so stressed, overtired and in pain that I've decided to just keep it super clean and let it heal on it's own but careful to watch for infection just in case.  The location of it is awkward too and I think it should heal up on it's own pretty quickly.

Got her in bed as she only wanted me, and then was sitting in the dark with a partially asleep Em, and bang!  Braedan slips, falls in the shower and hits his head.  I couldn't jump up with Em in my arms, so Danny went to his rescue and thankfully, he is okay.

And it was going so well!  Geesh!  Thankfully, everyone is still alive and now sleeping peacefully.

On the agenda tomorrow...non slip grips for the kid's bath, neosporin and more Angry Birds bandaids (per Zoey's request) and more bottles! (we were told Em was no longer taking them so only bought two just in case and this girl is chugging ooyoo like it's nobodies business three times a day and only out of a bottle!)

Aw, mama of three, no easy task!  But so worth it.  Wouldn't change it for the world.

Can I just say I love your beautiful photos? Your girls are so cute... And I totally sympathize with days like this... I don't know how you do it with 3!

When it rains, it pours... it always seems like that. But there are more good days than bad so don't worry, tomorrow is bound to be better. Glad that all kids are mostly all right. Hugs make things better, so lots of hugs for the little ones.

We continue to pray for the transition for all of you every day. And my kids go barefoot everywhere...except inside stores, restaraunts, etc...they are just happier that way :)
